 Not much!
We are still making progress but very slowly. Last
week we felt we achieved very little which has been pretty frustrating.

We waited all week for Georges (the rigger) to
show up. He finally made an appearance on Friday. Each day would start with a promise that he would come by but then
would never show.
Unfortunately 'Georges' is the only rigger or
should I say 'respected' rigger here in New Caledonia which means he is in
constant demand and has too much on. As we are only really 'tourists' we keep
getting bumped to the back of the que!
Mike and I have worked pretty hard and I supppose
looking back we have managed to get a lot done.
We replaced the luff bead on our headsail as
the original was too big and hoisted it. I spent 3 days sewing fixing
our mainsail bag, an old mainsail was delivered and I attached
the cars to it, we ran all the electrics and wired them and a quite a lot
more...
We just need our deck collar tie-rod and vang
bracket back from the welder and we should be ready to get off this
dock.
The weather has turned really crappy so not sure
what we will do this weekend..
Lets hope we can go sailing on Monday....Fingers
and every other extremity are crossed.
Bon Weekend!
