Preparations are almost complete ahead of the race. All stores have been received and packed away. Last minute checks have been completed and Ivan has attended the final safety briefing.

 

The marina has been a hive of activity over the past few days as everyone has been working very hard to get their yachts ready for the race on Sunday.

 

There has of course been some time allowed for eating and refreshment. The ARC organisers held a party for all entrants at Club Nautico on Friday evening where several platters of tapas and cool beers were enjoyed!

 

The Single Side Band (SSB) radio and Sailmail solution has not been tried yet as the signal within the Marina area is very poor. We are, however, able to pick up and send our email via the MailaSail solution.
