Frustations start to take the main hand. The immobilisme of owners starts to be boring .
The facts are known but still the believing in a miracle is there.
First doing repairs which are only a temporarely solution , where no warranty can be given to maintain 25 days sailing.
After, sea trails with 7 service engineers, problems are recorded but no reply except that the service engineer which can solve the problems isn't available for a week.
So , decission was token to send a new service engineer, coming from Europe (Spain), in order to solve the problems.
And off course, the suggestion is to back start with seatrails. Why people can't take rational decissions.
By starting step by step to solve the problems, I suspect after 4 weeks , the vessel is ready for sailing.
We are today 23 days underways and still no realy solution has been done, only cheap charly solutions and lot of money spend to nothing.
From experience , this way of handling isn't the correct way to achieve a good delivery.
A good delivery starts with a good preparation, which give you already 85% percent the chance to achieve a good delivery.
A short term policy isn't the way how you prepare a safe delivery, neither by solving the problems half.
To minimize the chance of a breakdown or accident, you need to analyse the situation and take back-up options into account.
In this case, it's clear. The owners failed to decide and apply short term policy in order to achieve a safe delivery.
In my opinion , no chance to achieve in this way a safe delivery. Togheter with the Chief Engineer we decided to quite this operation as the safety of our life is more than the value of vessel which could be classified as below standard safe construction, bad maintenance and temporarely solutions without any warranty of succes.
Motiviation is far away,
