Our port side engine was tested, the temperatures of the bearings on the shaft looks OK .
After lot of work to dismantle the coupling which has to be done by a special SKF pump at 2500 bar and difficult to find at the local ship service suppliers.
Tomorrow continue the repairs and normally completed at the end of the day.
Tuesday 1st of March planning of seatrails and if OK, we continue our voyage to Valencia.
To keep the spirit on board, some chocolats and chips .
Weekly we make a menu and as topper of the Saterday evening , Paëlla à la Valencia (without safran).
At least the boot looks already much better , since we took over the ship. A lot of ammonia needed to desinfect everything.
The original plan was to be in Valencia around the 2nd of March , but it will be starting on the 2nd of March 2016 from Dubai. With our expected arrival on the 26th of March 2016.
(15 days till Suez and 8 days till Valencia)
A long trip is waiting for us with ending in Valencia or not? That's the question.
