"After 30 years of sailing with Richard, this must
be the ultimate! Surfing down mid Atlantic breakers on a 44ft wind surfer, with
a kite (Spinnaker) up front, whilst wearing shorts! Meanwhile, my grandaughters
are talking about reindeer parades and nativity plays!" AB
Today has been particularly exciting, with a
spinnaker that refused to let us pull the sock down... so, up on the
foredeck, we faught a freely flying sail, bouncing around in an angry and
confused swell. But, smiley faces all around- the wind is strong and has
come out to play again. We had a few squals last night, whith a few people
getting slightly damp!
We continue to have lunch and dinner on the
sun terrace and have seen some fabulous sunsets and dramatic skylines.
Elixir seems to be enjoyiong herslef and keeping us
entertained well!!
