Dany II...still no signs of slowing down, but at
lest we're making good time toward our destination...only 583 mi. to go...winds
are stil 20-25 SW, with a large southerly swell, & wind chop on top of
that...we get the odd splash in the cockpit, but otherwise, its fairly dry...the
temperature has been perfect ever since we reached Salalah...bathing suits
during the day & t-shirts & shorts at nite...one of the things we've
been a bit disappointed by has been the lack of good sunsets...usually on long
ocean passages like these, we get some really spectacular ones, perhaps we'll
get one tonight since there are lots of fluffy clouds near the horizon...oh
well, at least we've had the moon with us...it's been so bright, you could
almost read by it...it definately makes night watches easier...we're still
not near the shipping lanes, so we haven't seen any traffic for a couple of days
now, just us & the flying fish...more tomorrow, D2 &
crew
