We got the water pump from the airport here at Montego Bay. Clearing from customs took two hours and eight people to do all the form filling and rubber stamping. We were very lucky that the guy from DHL drove us back to town. We walked almost all the way to the airport. The normal fare in a taxi to the airport is one dollar per person, We were quoted from eight and up to 12 dollars, They think that the tourists don’t know the real fare.

The mechanic we got to do the job turned out to be a good one. He knew what he was doing and he was exceptionally careful in regards to the timing.

We will set off for Honduras and Guatemala in a day or so. We need to get the gas bottle filled and re-provision before we go. We will go to Negril just around the corner until we get a good weather window…
