With three boats sailing together I think we can call ourselves a 'flotilla' of boats set off to celebrate the Greek Orthodox Easter. Its the biggest event of the year. For the past few days in readiness we have heard fireworks and dynamite being set off as the celebration of the rising of Christ. When in kos we saw the Friday night carrying of the body all lite up and being carried high on he shoulders of the men through the streets to the Church, followed by a band and lots of fireworks. It is a sight to see and all of the Islands celebrate in high spirits.
