Motored through Merkelmeer today and have moored up in preparation for the route through Amsterdam tonight. You have to go in convoy, we think about 2am when they open all the bridges. There are about 30 boats here waiting and apparently more in other waiting areas so should be quite a convoy. Cant say we have really enjoyed the inland seas due to the volume of boats but Amsterdam should be interesting.
