Back in Kernevel Marina - which is as when we were last here in 2007.
We have a rather ugly and generally yucky Swiss boat alongside - with very homemade fittings and a thick black rubber 'defender' - and his fenders are none too clean either.... we hope for the best - but its a calm evening.
Tomorrow we have to organise a hire car so that PJ can be got to Brest lunchtime Sunday and Nick Granger can be got from Nantes on Sunday evening. Last time we got a good deal from a bunch who brought the car to the marina - not anymore they want €163 for the privilege!
We have booked on line with Hertx at half the price - but their office say they have no cars - we shall see in the morning when we arrive by bus at the office to collect the car !
Sailing today was pretty tame - we stopped for lunch at a bay to the East end of Ile de Groix, then with an overcast sky and threats of rain we decided to come in here.
Poor Pete hasn't had a very exciting time - but hopefully has relaxed - well in between the blackberry vibrating in his trouser pockets with rude messages from his colleagues...... but at least unlike poor Tony he hasn't had to nash into nasty North Easterlies - sorry Tony - but thanks for all your efforts.
I look forward to having Nick Granger on board next week followed by Jenkins junior the week after.
Attached are some photos that Graham has sent of Candida at Ria de Vivero, our Dolphin extravaganza, and also the large Customs cutter that sent over the boarding party !
Thanks Graham.
