So following on from the skippers discussion on what constitutes halfway
across the Atlantic,
I have been asked to intervene and write today's blog in an attempt to bring
some clarity.
After extensive review of all of the nautical, synoptic & celestial
information available,
I think we are now going downhill so we must be halfway.
Going downhill often means going faster and this was confirmed earlier today
when I saw a SOG reading of 12knts after sailing down the side of the 4
meter Atlantic swell we are currently enjoying !
So now that we have conclusively established we are on the home run, how do
we celebrate our achievement ?
Unbeknown to the crew, apparently the skipper has been hiding some fruit
cake for such an occasion so off to find the cake.
