Happy Sunday everyone... a mixed day on the Ocean,
started off wet, gloomy and miserable, but gradually cleared up and though the
it was sluggish progress earlier on, we are still managing to sail. The
Weather Guru had advised that we would likely be motoring from here on in
as we approach the Azores high, but so far so good. We
have had a mini celebration tasting Skipper's attempt at Betty Crocker chocolate
brownies, which turned out more like chocolate fondants but were pretty good
anyway.
At 5 pm boat time (we haven't been very diligent at
changing the clocks every 15 degrees so unsure as to what time it is!) we are
371.7 miles from , our waypoint outside of Horta and Skip reckons a very
early morning ETA on Wednesday, so might slow down on approach so as to get in
in full daylight. Fingers crossed over the next few days. A few
dolphin visits have kept us smiling.
Sean said not a lot, but I assure you that he is
still onboard......
Yassou from the Nafties (sorry, in joke which at
least one of my siblings will get....TTFN - No 3
