Diary entry number six - Meganisi and Lefkas - Position 38:49.89N 20:42.70E

Left Corfu on 14 May - motor trip to Lefkas
canal. Problem with engine so went into Lefkas marina briefly but it
sorted itself out so headed out again down canal. Reached Spartahori,
Peter's favourite place in Greece and had supper at the Taverna on the
beach. Lunch on board was a colourful one - see piccie.
Just time to spend one more day exploring
Meganisi before had to head back to Lefkas for Peter and Vicky to depart on
Sunday 17 May.
Ruth then had week in Lefkas on her own living
on board in the marina. Hired a car for three days and went exploring
Lefkas's wonderful mountains and beaches. Highlight was on third day with
three hour walk in the mountains to a little chapel. I just met one farmer
for the whole time and there were wonderful wild flowers to see and smell and
amazing views. That evening went horseriding on the beach - pretty idyllic
stuff really!
Today (Friday 22 May) spent all day cleaning
boat inside and out in preparation for arrival of new crew
tomorrow.
