7th August 2011

We should be passing Georgetown of Guiana today with regret of not seeing it. Maybe we will come back next year!

Hopefully only 3 more nights and we will be in Trinidad on the 10th. This short handed watchers are enough now. I want to sleep more than a 3 hour stretch :)

Andre was on watch as we passed Suriname yesterday at 20h00 and saw a rocket launch. You may know Suriname is one of the launch sites into space. He says a bright light with big plume behind it and it f*cked off into space,,,, hahaha his words when I asked what it looked like... :)

We just had our evening drag/shower/wash. Nothing like being dragged behind the boat over 3000 meters of water at about 5 knots for a rinse and washdown. :) Warm water love the idea of "nothing" beneath us. Final rinse in fresh water and we ready for the evening.

Tonight we are having fresh Tuna sushi and sashimi prepared by our Sushi chef extrodinaire, Andre. Hand caught the big yellow fin Tuna himself yesterday afternoon. NNyyyummy.

Tomorrow Venezuela from a distance. :)

Love to all.
