Hi Folks
Still on track, 707 nm from the Azores. At present we are motoring as
the wind has completely died - 3knts.max.the sea is smooth, the sun is
shinning. A great day for sunbathing. Great for Graham and myself but
unfortunately Andy and Whiggy need to earn a crust so it isn't quite so
great. However we can only play with what we have.
No fish yet, we shall have to get inventive with the meals, as food stores
run low, though the tonic appears to be holding out . I think the ratio to
Gin has been altered quietly.
Our biggest problem at present is opening cans as our can opener has busted.
The super Leatherman has come second best to the Victorinox Swiss tool in
dealing with this problem as it is equipped with a small can opener amongst
its many tools.
Warm though it is Rip Van Whiggy have declined to take a dip in the
Atlantic. Stressing that the giant fish he lost the other day may be around
and find his young toes attractive
All for now.
Keep the E mail coming
