We are bowling along at 50 degrees to the wind 7 k over ground on course
to the Azores
We have now been at sea for 14 days and expect a further 7 before we reach
Horta a long long trip
Weather forecasts are now good as we enter the fabled Azores high SE for the
next few days light winds as we pass through the centre and then N/NE , we
should pass through the centre sometime Saturday
Provisions are holding out ,just , we only have 4/5 days of fresh food after
that we will be on dry goods and testing Joys inventiveness in the galley
After yesterdays low beating into rough seas spirits are much higher as at
last we are eating up the miles
