hi Everyone

skippers 2nd Report

We are now progressing NE having had a quiet night on motor charging the
batteries and making water

We seem to have lost the illusive gulf stream again although our guru peter
assures us it is ahead and to the north

We are expecting strong winds today from the SW in the region of 20/25K so
expect to be sailing downwind under Jib overnight

Everyone had a good nights sleep last night including a swallow that
adopted us it was with us for 18hrs , I advised it
that it should be careful about staying much longer if our stocks of food
began to run down , however it would appear that it had visited us to find a
peaceful place to pass away to swallow heaven , which it duly did at 1400
UTC today
We gave it a nautical burial by wrapping it in an old ensign and with quiet
dignity consigned it to the depths
RIP Sid the Swallow

Weather apart from the wind is very European overcast with suggestions of
rain and cold Joy and I are beginning to feel like we are home

All for now
