Hi Folks
Another warm sunny day, smooth sea unfortunately NO WIND.
Graham decided an ideal day to demonstrate the art of fishing to Andy and
Chris.
Out went the line with his new lure and we waited for a bite. Just round
Happy Hour 5 30pm a fish took the bait.
A good size Darado . Its bright green and yellow scales could be seen in the
distance.
Whilst graham reeled him in. We got the Vodka and the new Gaff hook to
welcome him aboard.Yes we bought a Gaff hook, a long pole with a large nasty
sharp hook on the end.
As no one had used a Gaff hook before Andy was delegated the job.
He did his best striking the large male Darado on the head several times. To
which Mr Darado decided enough was enough, made a giant leap for freedom,
broke the line off the lure and disappeared into the blue Atlantic.
Another round of G&Ts were ordered and a post-mortem conducted.
Instructions please re. a) Landing a large fish onto a small sailing yacht,
b) Handling instructions for a Gaff hook, to
