Even as I write, I know I will fail to find words that adequately express the terrible loss of a dear friend, a father and a husband. It is with a heavy heart that I must pay tribute to Roy Shilton who, having fought so energetically and courageously to overcome complications during his treatment for cancer, passed away last night.

Roy will be remembered fondly by everyone at KYC who, just weeks ago, suspected nothing of his suffering.

Our unreserved condolences are with Jan and David for whom the loss must be agonizing.
