So, it's just a short sail - about two and a half days, maybe a bit less, but I'll be passing Cape Point (Cape of Good Hope) and Cape Agulhas. Next time we 'speak' I'll be in the Indian Ocean!
I first met the crew of Tico Tico when I was in Saldanha Bay and it's just coincidental that they too are heading for Knysna. I thought it would be safer to travel in company and, as they know the Knysna area very well, I'll be a lot happier navigating through the notorious 'Knysna Heads' and into the tricky lagoon with them.
I'm looking forward to Knysna though. Everyone tells me how lovely it is in the natural lagoon.
Bye for now then - I'm going to try to get some sleep before setting off as it's coastal sailing all the way and sleeping's going to be a bit tricky. I'll work something out though.
