Our headgasket is leaking, when we stop the engine the coolant leaks into the cilinders. In that case the engine is nearly impossible to start. We keep the engine running to keep electricity and maneuvrability in the shipping lanes. The engine seems to run well  even with a leaking gasket. Diesel should be sufficient to last to Falmouth.
