Hi all. Its mackeral for tea tonight. 28kg spanish. We had a bumpy night last night. wind dropped and the swell (3m)over the south sub tropical current stood the seas up so we had some wild surfing/broaching for a bit. its settled down now to a fairly light sail.
Water make is buggered. we are going to try to weld up the bearing chasis as it has a crack in it. Ive got some stainless welding rods on board and battery cables so well see how that goes.
weather today is spectacular. barely a cloud in the sky. the barometer is high and steady. swell is back well below 2m for the most part. Still a long swell from the NE suggesting some wind up there.
168nm yesterday. we have started to use new caledonian time now.
