Hi all. we are just a day out now. its 6:30am local time and we have 180nm to go so around lunchtime tomorow we will be chewing baguettes. Though thats prob all we can afford to do there. wine is 12-18 a bottle and beer 3.50 a can in the shops. Lucky we are stocked up on the essentials. Rum.

Had the spinaker up for 6-8 hours yesterday. helped alot through the lighter winds but we have 20-25 again now so holding a nice 7.5-8.3knots under whites.
Got a couple of wahoo a few days ago but nothing since. Valiem(another aussie boat) said they got a huge mahi mahi on the way in so were holding some hope.

I doubt if any of us will be able to sleep for more than 6 hours straight for quite a while.(the watch rotation. 3 on 6 off.)
