Got stuck for several days of being stuck in Solta / Maslinica due to weather. As we had time on our hands, I cut Andy’s hair again.Last night we had our first “Gin Palace” experience when 2 friendly swiss people invited us onto theirs for drinks. Woke to thunder, lightening and rain today.

Made it to Hvar today. Started off trying to anchor in the bay of the town and were successful after our 3^rd attempt. Had a nice cup of tea and then the Port Authority came round and told everyone at anchor that no anchoring was allowed and we had to move. Ended up in Palmizana marina 1 mile away. We’re surrounded by 50 german speaking charter boaters.

Got the water taxi over to Hvar town tonight…..to see loads of boats anchored where we had been!!!  Had dinner, a look around and drinks before coming back on a fast rib. Aiming for Lastova then hopefully (weather permitting ) we’ll cross to Italy on Tuesday.
