Stayed on Meganissi until Friday morning. On late Thursday afternoon we tried a bit of diving as I am very rusty, only to suddenly notice the boat’s longlines were slack and on surfacing found the wind had got up, the waves were coming and some nice person had pulled up our anchor. Mad scramble followed to get out of the water before the boat or us were impaled on the rocks. Then spent next 2 hrs trying to moor on the other side of the bay.

Left Friday morning heading north as knew strong winds were coming. Friday afternoon/night was spent in a bay next to Preveza on Greek mainland. With strong winds, green water and an industrial view we didn’t leave the boat.

Saturday set sail at 7am and got to Mourtos on the Greek coast after 7 hrs, to beat the arrival of the winds. Sunday morning was peaceful until noon when the strong winds arrived which rocked and rolled us until early hours of the Monday morning. Stayed on board to key eye on the boat which was just as well as the anchor slipped, but not as badly as the Italian boat which kept trying to anchor near us but ended up dragging anchor off into the middle of the large deep bay.

Left Mourtos at 7am this morning to beat any more winds and got here to the marina on Corfu at 11.30am. Much cooler today which has been very pleasant.
