On Saturday we eventually made it to the Dolphin Reserve on Losinj, the only one in the med. Only taken 2 days of sitting in storms, sailing 42miles and cycling 3 miles to get to its doors to read a sign saying closed due to electrics problem – re-opening Wednesday. We left that afternoon to sail 20miles to Pag which took 6 hrs as going directly into wind. Pag is very mountainous, green in some places then completely rock/gravel in others. There are 35000 sheep here making the cheese, but we only saw 5 even though it’s a small island. They live on sage which is the only thing that seems to grow.

Yesterday we cycled miles in the wind to the cheese factory. The wind was so strong when we were cycling into it that I had to get of and push my bike down hill. Bought 4kg of the famous Paski Sir cheese. Last night went into Pag town for a meal and when we asked for a taxi the waiter got his wife to drive us back the 6miles to the marina.

Been on the island of Pag for the last 2 nights in marina in Simumi and setting sail now for Zadar. It has been very windy for the last couple of weeks but there is none today.
