Arrived here on Losinj yesterday afternoon at Mali after a couple of days on Dugi Otok at Brbinj / Lucina.

Went to Brbinj as low on supplies since not been to a supermarket for a week, and the book said there was a supermarket there. We set off looking for the market and after an hour eventually found it. It was closed but waited the 15mins for it to open again at 5pm. Armed with a long list of shopping we were looking forward to nice food. We’d even just about run out of UHT milk which doesn’t taste good in tea. However when the shop opened, we found it empty with only about 12 things in the entire shop! So all we left with was 2 doughnuts and a loaf of bread.

Storms kept us there on Wednesday. Only one boat ventured out which returned a little later with a badly ripped sail, or rather they had torn it in two. Being a charter boat they didn’t seem too bothered.

Much excitement when we got to Mali as so many shops, supermarkets and a washing machine at the marina.

This area is a conservation area for Dolphins which are supposed to frequent the waters. We sailed 42miles yesterday and didn’t see one single dolphin! However off today to the Marine Centre in the nearby bay of Veli.
