A perfect Saturday...sunbathing on deck all day,
sushi for lunch, fish and chips for dinner..ate last of the peanuts and plantain
chips at the Tot.....no sign of any ships.
Had an e mail last night from friends on a
catamaran called Ruby Soho who left a day or so before us. They had been doing
200 mile days and are now 250 miles ahead...I have to begrudgingly admit that a
catamaran is probably the way to go for a cruising yacht..other friends aboard a
big Catana called Unamai took only 15 days to cross, just think no rolling and
all that space!
Aston and I have been doing sit ups..it is
depressing so far I have done 30 a night just progressing to 45 today with huge
difficulty..Aston meanwhile has progressed to 120!!! What is that????? Age I
hear you say...NEVER!
I am on night watch so early hour sof Sunday now
and we have just broken 3/4 of the way.
Now only 740nm to go...we are practically
there!!
