10/12/10
Wind EAST 22 knots
Weather Sunny
290 Deg      -             (in case anyone noticed we rarely head due West, its because of a southerly current set here,so we head slightly WNW to achieve the best VMG  to waypoint)
Speed 7.5 knots
Days Run 178 nm
Distance to go 452 nm

If things keep going as they are we should arrive Monday evening/night
But winds will be a little lighter for the last 2 days but even still we should achieve above- all reefs shaken out  now!
Lots more fun on the radio net with our version of “on the tenth day of Christmas “ that we sang over the radio, being accepted for a recital ( with 12 other verses) at the ARC awards ceremony on the 18th .
Verses obviously have an Atlantic theme like “6 flying fish “ 10 Knots a surfing” “2 light airs” “4 seasick sailors” etc. etc. .- Sad thing is we get quite excited by all this- as the cultural void sets in
But Nick has managed to retain his sanity -unlike the rest of us and held back from taking part in this daily tomfoolery .

All remains well on board as land looms in the non to distant future- as yet no mutiny, but Debs says a decent nights sleep would go down well, Nick needs Rum  and Fred says just “Land”

For me that Steel Drum beckons in the land where Deborah and I got married
