KNIGHTRIDER DAY 8 - HOFF'S HALFWAY HOORAH

Knightime

Hello Everyone, This is your On-The-Spot Reporter, reporting from the spot where there has been another great day - mid Atlantic. The eagerly awaited half way point was reached at exacly 18.00 hrs 'Knightime' (19.00 UT) and we duly celebrated with a tin of peaches for pudding. Ah Bliss.
However, all was not plain sailing today, something came undone near the pointy end and Cap'n Kitt, aka Cap'n Rick was allowed to have a little  peek at the deck from somewhere high up. Of course, we all wanted to do it, especially as the sea was like a mill pond, (NOT),  but he insisted this it was his prerogative, and up he went in a nice red and blue chair, looking most pleased with himself. C J Hoffapopoulous also excelled with tonight's dinner. I reckon that it was highly likely that we were the only ones in our little Armada, enjoying Pommes Dauphinoise tonight. Our mileages have been very encouraging and it is  a bit of a thrill to see the destination creeping closer with each daily plot.The sea state is 'interesting' and each time we do the Gybe thingy, we have to get used to the sea swell having a bit of fun with us and making some of our, shall we say, less experienced hands, (yes, I mean me) totter about in a most undignified way, for the next few hours. Then, just as maybe ones legs get the idea, guess what ? We do the Gybe Ho thingy all over again. The good news is that the bed covers which have jammed themselves midships, now come creeping back with each surge.
If all this isn't enough excitement, we finally had some Tuna in the cockpit!! Truly amazing and worthy of today's pic of the day!
We spotted a couple of yachts today quite far away but although we couldn't identify them we've got a pretty good idea where they're going. Our desire? To beat them to it! Funny how that mind set pops up each time one spots a yacht isn't it?
You will have learned from MediHoff that late at night, a 'treat' box with edible goodies comes quietly through the velvet curtain which keeps the First Class Cabin private, and sustains the watchkeepers while El Hoff plots VICTORY in his control centre. I know he is a happy man today because I have seen, with my own eyes dear readers, tonights offering:  A WHOLE 4 FINGERED KIT KAT EACH. Hell we must have been good. (Actually I think we were).
Anyway dear readers, all on board hope you enjoy getting our news in this way. For now it's adios amigos from the Jolly Knightriders,
El Hoff, Spiderman Cap'n Kitt, RubberGloveMan Medi-Hoff, Peter van den HofferDommer, Smoothy CJ Hoffapopoulous, and tonight's Senior Cub Reporter,
CHoff aka Mogul Mike.
STAY TUNED+++
