The Voyages of Richard and Amanda

While we are on wifi at Marina Coruna I thought I would just download a few pictures to see how the picture feature of the blog works. These are just a few that we took on route down to La Coruna. There are more on the camera of this city and its architecture, which is quite fascinating, I will try and upload those later. I think so far we have concentrated on the video, so that is an exciting thought for all our friends - 5 hours of video footage of big seas and seagulls :-)

Leaving Northney Marina Leaving Northney - Richard's family waving goodbye.

Spinnaker run down the Solent  We even managed to get our new spinnaker out for the first time, and it set perfectly, straight out of the bag.  If you go to www.boatphotos.co.uk , search for Justine you will see other pictures that were taken by a man in a power boat just off Cowes.

Moonlit nights There is something special about seeing the moon at night. At least you know it is not foggy!!

Plain sailing  This what it is like when the weather conditions are just perfect, blue skies, light winds, all sails set and on course.

Still happy At this point the terror has not set in and Amanda is hard at work reading her book.

Sea birds There is always someone watching you:-)

First sight of land Then magically through the fog, you see the first sight of land.

More to follow......
