From Ares marina looking towards the town

on route to Cedeira - typical headland to go round keeping half a mile off shore in light airs. Pilot books recommend up to 3-5 miles in strong swell/winds

Entrance to Cedeira harbour just opening up. Quiet anchorage in fishing village, good holding in soft sand/mud.

The other side of the breakwater. Spanish lifeboat moored on key. There appears to be just one which moves between La Coruna and Ribadeo.

7th June.

Lunch on the way to Viveiro. Cheese salad and diet coke. No wind at this point so we are motor sailing.

Fishing boats leaving Viveiro. The area is not overcrowded with yachties so they still wave back when we wave at them.

Viveiro marina. Under administration while possible corruption charges are investigated. So a free mooring.  Andrew's boat a Morgan 38 just visible between the main sheets just above the life raft.

The rain starting to move in around 2pm as of 10th of June it still hasn't stopped.
