50:05.83N 05:07.72W Mild case of cabin fever this morning so we make the most of a small weather window and head down the coast a couple of hours to Helford River.  Motor all the way but it’s good to be under way again – hymn ‘One more step along the world I go…’.   We pick up a buoy in Helford River, the first on this journey – feels like Ullswater, so easy peazy even with an ebb tide.  We can see the pub over in Helford but getting there means inflating the dinghy and, as it’s now blowing a hooley once more, we’re happy to swing on our mooring and let the world go by.  If the weather brightens we need to be under way again tomorrow, which is a shame as Frenchman’s Creek is just round the corner and deserves exploring. Photos: the perfect thatched cottage on the River Fal, complete with own harbour, and a little ‘unique sunshine’ wouldn’t go amiss!
