54:04.80N 00:11.49W Woke to steady rain but the ominous Force 6 had disappeared from the forecast so we decided to make the hop to Bridlington.  Wind still meant we had to motor but visibility improved just in time to have a good view of Flamborough Head.  The sails came out once we turned round the headland and we had a gentle beam reach all the way into Bridlington Bay, making such good time we had to put the kettle on and wait out in the bay for the tide to rise – even needed the sun cream, though for most of the time we were well muffled up, see photo! We’re now tied up against the wall in Brid harbour (as it’s apparently known locally), having spent the night waiting to dry out hoping our lines are long enough so we don’t strangle ourselves as the harbour completely dries – we’re staying here again today so will try to take a photo of Juniper sitting on her keels.
