Rest Day

Itchycoo Park is taking a brake from action today as the crew rest up and sort out the essentials of reprovisioning, a few maintenance tasks and even some laundry. The weather forecast also suggested a two night stay as there are strong winds forecast tonight.

Those following us on AIS will have noted that we continue to sail sideways with the recorded heading 90 degrees away from reality. This is one of the issues being addressed as it sends bad information about us to other shipping traffic.

There is little to report on from yesterday's shore leave for the crew. A couple of quiet beers and a relaxing evening in the bars of Cascais which only finished when they closed the last bar on us at 2.00 a.m. Its possible that we were so pleased to be ashore for a change that we didn't want it to end. Its also possible...........(you know the rest)

The plan is to depart tommorrow for Madeira - no idea yet what time as we will be doing the passage plan later.
