Dear Reader,
What a numpty I am. Took out the new binoculars first night out and left
them wedged under the sprayhood. When I went to use them yesterday they were
gone which probably explains that crash I heard when I was dozing. Its a
real pain as they are useful at night to try to judge distance. The weather
has been very kind with light winds from the North or north west giving a
second days run of 116 miles, mostly directly to the destination which is
great. We still have about 80 miles to go to clear the shelf which should be
just in time as the heavy winds come in Wednesday. Caught too much sun
yesterday which has left me with a blinding headache.................and I'm
low on Paracetamol................why didn't I think of that before??.
Didn't sleep much last night as about 4 or five Jester boats all came
together and we were sailing about 1/2 mile apart. Not good for trying to
get sleep breaks in especially as they could be doing the same. Still the
sun is out today and not a sole to be seen on the horizon Yippee!! Caught up
with some Zs this morning so ok again now.
Thanks all for now,
Berni
