Title: What a difference a day makes

Noon position 24 June 41:25.1N 23:39.3W
Days run by log 131miles (Yippee a new record)

Dear Reader,

What a difference a day makes!! Sun came out yesterday. The wind moderated
and shifted allowing me to tack onto a broad reach, which allowed me to have
a marvellous sleep. Life is now good and I feel totally relaxed again.

A record days run today almost all in the right direction, although I have
had quite a bit of current against me. The bad news is that there is a high
forming over me on Wednesday which means no wind.

Saw whales (in the distance), a Turtle, and a blue disposable razor on the
first day. Yesterday evening I was reading down below when I heard all this
Dolphin chatter coming through the hole. Up on deck to find a mass of
dolphins round the boat. I said hi, and did a little dance, they did a
couple of flips then went on their way. Saw three more this morning all
tumbling out of the same wave one on top of the other. Looked very
impressive.

So what am I reading at the moment you ask? Well I have almost finished "A
spot of bother" by Mark Haddon which is poignant, but hilariously funny. In
fact I have almost been crying with laughing at some of the passages. A
bloody good read if you need cheering up, or even if you don't At the same
time I'm reading "The Third Jesus" by Deepak Chopra which is quite deep. It
explores the theory that Jesus' teachings are far more esoteric than modern
theologians would have us believe. A lot of his teachings can be seen in
ancient Egyptian & Indian writings which predate him by many centuries. It
doesn't detract from the belief in Jesus but augments it.

The thought for today comes from Alfred Souza

" Dance as though no one is watching you; love as though you have never been
hurt before, sing as though no one can hear you, live as though heaven is on
earth"

Hmmmmmmmmmm...................

Tune it tomorrow to see inside the windless hole. Will the engine pull
us through or will we have to ration the fuel...........?
