After the winds of yesterday.....................yes you've guessed
it............almost flat calm where it took 7 hours tacking back and
forward, to cover 7 miles. I still had 3 to go and the light was beginning
to go so I motored the last 3 miles over the line.
There were about 10 or 11 boats ahead of me so had a nice friendly welcome
and a couple came on board to demolish my litre bottle of Rum. sore head and
lethargic feeling after good sleep.
Cute marina full of proper cruising boats which is good. Will have to try to
fix my leaking rudder whilst I am here so that I can get back in about a
week.
