Title: Best days run yet

Noon position 9 June 42:19N 17:38W

Dear Reader,

Well we did hold on to the trade winds, but the sun , despite a few valiant
sorties, never managed to break up the high grey cloud cover. I think I'm
beginning to suffer from SAD syndrome already. Before I would sit in the
cockpit for hours just gazing out over the sun kissed waves drifting into a
world apart , but now its a quick look around and back into the cabin.

Still we managed to clock up 127 miles yesterday which was especially
good as I reefed down overnight just in case. Saw another large school of
Dolphins doing lots of acrobatics.........................think they must be
spinners dolphin. Today the boat is running directly down wind with sails
each side in classic trade wind mode. The only drawback is the rolling from
side to side which means you have to think very very carefully where you put
stuff down. Those safe ledges and sides are now false havens.

Featured product today is :

FOCUS the BBC monthly science magazine.

If you haven't tried this I can highly recommend it especially as I know
that you have an enquiring mind, and are keen to know about the latest,
Medicine, Technology, genetics, Science, Nature, Climatology, cosmetology,
engineering...............and did I mention nature.........well you know how
the BEEB is on nature. The format is easy in modern style and as with
everything BBC the pictures are stunning! I have been getting it for about a
year now and there isn't one that I haven't read from cover to cover. Just
Try it!!

One small fact from this months issue , is that tea inhibits the action of
Anthrax bacteria , but only if its black. So that can be very useful if we
have a terrorist attack as we can all sit down and have a pot of tea. In
fact the whole of the British empire ( you remember when the world maps
looked almost pink), was founded on tea. I'm sure there are many more
goodies, beside the antioxidants, that are locked away in tea. Just imagine
that if we didn't overcharge our American cousins for tea in Boston, we
could be saddled with the 3 trillion dollar cost of the Iiiiraq war.So drink
tea whilst reading your bright shiny copy of FOCUS and you will be amazed
how good you feel.

That's your lot today as I feel a snooze coming on

Berni
