Yes, the plot of 2 days ago was a bit optimistic - not quite there yet!
A speedy 24 hours with a dark and stormy night but no cocktails here.  Yesterday afternoon saw more sunshine but finished early on with the arrival of some weather systems - amazing how fast they approach and move over us.  The wind picked up and through the night we then had squalls with heavy rain - so heavy you couldn't hear the wind - but only short lasting interspersed with clear moonlit spells. The wind has built today and it has been downhill sailing all the way hitting 12.8 knots max in 'lots of wind'.
Dinner last night was continuing Alastairs preparations for student life with chill con carne - very tasty.  We seem to dip in and out of the gulf stream but never hitting the hot water we had early on.  It is still blue and warm so t shirts and shorts (with full waterproofs as well).
