As of today there are three boats behind us, that means, we're no longer in last place, yeay!
We are very close to hitting the midway point from Las Palmas to St. Lucia. As of today have traveled 1,905 nautical miles since we left Las Palmas a little over two weeks ago. And we have about 1,400 miles to go untill we get to our destination.
Over a dozen boats have completed the crossing and, there will be more arriving in St. Lucia in the coming days. Roger found a flying fish this morning in the galley. We're doing our midnight to 2am watch. Cloudy skys out there, the air is warm and breezy. It feels like the caribbean already. And, very humid too, I'm glad we have air conditioning on the boat. Bandido rules!
Bandido's chute/geniker/asymetrical is still up and our current speed is 7kts. The winds are pretty good and we're hoping for better wind as we close in on the trade winds.

Andale Bandido!
