Tonight we passed the 600 miles left to go on our trip to St. Lucia. So far, we have traveled about 2,400 nautical miles on Bandido and counting. We expect to arrive in St. Lucia on or about late monday night or tuesday early morning, we shall see.
There is a very beautiful almost 100% percent full moon, the sea below it serves a giant mirror reflecting the moonlight. The climate has cooled down considerably. Tonight I had a moment of reflection, it made me realize that I'm gonna miss being in the cockpit either, having lunch with the guys, stargazing at night or early morning or just sitting there and watching the beautiful ocean. And of course, the ocassional birds flying, who knows how many miles they have traveled to be in the area.
I have to say that the food on Bandido has been first rate. Everyone on Bandido is a great cook, no shortage of well made meals. And of course, desserts. Didn't know life at sea could be this good.
