The clock reads 1:30pm and we are about 42 miles from Gran Canaria. We left Pasito Blanco about 7:30 this morning. The day has been very sunny and particularly warm, lots and lots of rolling waves. A very tranquil morning. We have been motor sailing since we left. And now, the genoa is out the captain has turned the engine off. The wind has finally picked up and it's about 15kts of apparent wind.We're officially sailing, yeay!!! Andale Bandido!!
