Sorry for some very dull blogs lately buts its proved to be a very frustrating time since passing the half way mark and us suddenly thinking we’ve almost finished! Because we haven’t and at this rate it will be a few more weeks! It seems to be affecting people roughly in line with us on the way to Antigua, with a few boats slowing noticably as well. One interesting to happen today is that we had a chat with Rob from Ocean Summit, who are a few miles south and east of us, over VHF radio. Thats the first time weve spoken to another rower since we spoke to No Fear in the first week. They sound in good spirits but as frustrated as we are and have had a few problems with their water maker which they think they have finally sorted.Found a few more days of wet food in one of cabins! And as its so hot leaving on deck its more than sufficient to heat it up. Have had a clean of the boat bottom most days for last few and a quick wash at sametime. The sunblock works very well, neither off us are burnt just very greasy which is nic to remove if possible before trying to sleep. Should drop below 900 miles to go in a few hours and then 800 2-3 days later. Pete the petrel still doing his daily rounds.
