Had an idea yesterday afternoon to check out bottom of boat, and upon finding a small forest growing on it gave it a good clean which we repeated today to make sure there was no debris left. Got considerably faster yesterday afternoon/evening before slowing again today. Very light conditions again and still from a southerly direction. Have done our best over the day to keep going as west as we can but have been pushed a few miles north which wont hopefully as the wind tends to (well aparently it does) come from the north more. Gone through 950 to go and if weather/wind/current improves we may go through 900 tomorrow night. Saw our first tropical bird today, about size of a seagull, all white with whispy tail and red bill. Did a few chores around the boat, recharging things, re balancing in amongst trying to sleep. Difficult to sleep today as very hot and no breeze in cabin again. Heres to better conditions tomorrow! Other boats seem much less affected that us, all ahead of us doing 0.3kt quicker  per hr, not sure why we arent!
