Very lazy day today, just dropped our passports off with Woodvale to be stamped tomorrow so we can leave the country on Monday. Weather still seems ok so everyone is optimistic about a start at 1.30pm on Monday. Had a few drinks in San Sebastian last night. The local way to celebrate New Years is to have a large spanish dance in the local square. No one is about till about 11.45pm and then hundreds of very smartly dressed locals appear. As most of the rowers have only the basics we felt a bit out of place in our shorts and T shirts. Just ticking off a few last minute things with the boat and starting to make her ready for the crossing, somethings unfortunately will have to wait till the day before as they are needed beforehand. We both wish everyone all the best for the New Year.
