Hello, a very slow day today with hot still air making hard going. At times
we have been struggling to make 1knot! Still even if we are only making slow
progress at least it is miles in the right direction.
A strange think we have both noticed while out here is that we seem to wake
up with a lot of drool over our faces! To beginning with we weren't sure
weather it was do to excessive salivation but we have now come to the
conclusion that it is probably a normal amount of saliva that you might
normally wipe away while semi conscious during waking but due to our beards
it seems like more. To test this hypothesis I wanted us to each shave half
our beards and see what the effect is, Paul is not so keen on this so
science may miss out on this experiment!
Also we wanted to time how long the sun sets and sunrises are out here as
they seem very quick, 2min 40 sec from full sun sitting on horizon to no
visible sun!
I have been having some very strange dreams over the last few days, bit too
long for putting in here. Having cleaned the mould out of the water
container that we mix the electrolyte drink up I would have thought that we
would be having less psychogenic dreams but the opposite seems to be true.
