Hello, No we haven't gone completely mad, but yesterday we had our own
privet Christmas day on the boat! We were originally planning to spend the
'real' Christmas on the boat but due to the delay in us leaving we didn't.
However we still had a few cards, miniature Christmas puddings, and a few
small gifts on board so we thought that we would have a second Christmas on
the 25/2. We even have some battery powered Christmas light (not sure they
really comply with the regulations of navigation lights for boats, but as we
have only seen one boat in the last 6 days we don't think it really maters!)
we even had some Christmas songs on the ipods so played them.
Otherwise the wind is now coming form the ESE to SE making it hard to drop
down toward the other boats around us even if they do seem to be having more
favourable winds at the moment. Paul cleaned the bottom of the boat
yesterday as was one of the calmest days we have had for a while. Poor
weather is expected later in the week and over the weekend but fingers
crossed it doesn't turn out as bad as they say...
