Yesterday it was very calm so there were lots of jobs to be done.  Down below was cleaned and tidied and salt was washed off the topsides.
Yesterday we had our slowest 24 hour run at 125 miles.  Today is our quickest at 172 miles.  At the moment we have a force 6 with gusts from the south / south west.  So much for the trade winds!  Its cloudy and muggy again and 30 degrees down below.  We have done 997 miles since Las Palmas and are now 1991 miles to St Lucia.  So about one third of the way in a week, which considering the light winds we have had and the fact that we have taken the southern route is not too bad.
Signing off now as its quite bumpy down here!
