At the end of Day 2, we are making decent progress towards Bermuda, with
less than 600 nm to run now. When we left Virgin Gorda, we had a yacht just
ahead of us for the whole of the first day, but they took a more easterly course
last night, so we are alone on the ocean waves.....not much wildlife to record,
apart from the ubiquitous flying fish and occasional tern. The watches are
therefore a bit boring!
We are pleased to report that we have also fixed the generator, after a bit
of effort. If there is one thing worse than working on a diesel engine, it is
working on one on a heaving and rolling boat, in a confined space, in Caribbean
weather.... However, job done, and batteries being charged as we write
this.
